Video is not only an important aspect of presentation in both the commercial and educational world but also for archival of live scenes, channel for expressing creativity, pushing the boundary of video media and planting a strong presence in the IDA new media drive.
 
 
A studio setup coupled with numerous video awards on both local and international arena enable school and student who were able to express themselves well and who were inclined towards the performing arts to discover and develop their skills. They learn script writing, music and video editing during the whole production cycle from pre-production to post-production.

Pre-production involves management and lots of planning; getting the crew and actors together, scouting for location, scripting and formulating shoots and logistics. During production students will be involve in shooting, directing and producing. Here students learn social skills by seeing their own behavior and reactions "on camera". This can be a powerful tool in helping shape student's learning, behavior, attitudes and motivation. Student is not only being trained in public speaking and presentation skills; they also hone their execution capability and working as a team, combining efforts to achieve a good production. In post-production they are trained in using software that is comparable to those that are used in the industry to add frills, include effects and editing.

The studio allows users to gain hands-on experience, as they perform different roles and production can be broadcasted within the school or to be archived. Having discovered their love for video production or the performing arts, they can choose to further their studies in these fields.
